'Introducing' stationery collection

For our August 2020 subscription box we focussed on stationery from brands with which our subscribers might not be so familiar…

Archie’s Calligraphy notebooks
Artur Rzepka began his business by producing specialist sheets of paper for calligraphers, but has since expanded his range to include notebooks and stunning leather notebook covers. The A5 notebooks in this collection were a huge hit with our subscribers! They are fountain-pen friendly and hand-bound in the workshop in Poland.

Viarco pencils
There are all too few independent pencil manufacturers left in Europe but Portuguese brand Viarco is one of them. Their retro packaging, reproducing styles they used in the 1950s, is gorgeous!

Platinum Preppy pens
Established in 1919, the Platinum Pen Co. is renowned as a Japanese manufacturer of fine fountain pens but is relatively unknown in the West. A lovely pen suitable for fountain pen newbies!

Pigeon Posted letters
These are fabulous! An innovative combination of letters, origami and funky designs, these Pigeons are perfect for penpals!

Bomo Art hot air balloons postcard
The Bomo Art shop in Budapest has been serving stationery enthusiasts since 2000. The products have a very distinctive style and the shop is one of the best reasons to visit Hungary!

Finally, as always, a set of postcards featuring the work of talented young illustrators.

This collection sold out completely but we have others available in our shop.
